The annual Ottawa County Fall Fest weekend at the Ottawa County “Scare Grounds” will take over the Oak Harbor fairgrounds on Friday through Sunday, Oct. 5-7, with lots of family fun. Admission is free, with weekend camping at the fairgrounds costing $55.
On Friday, a Bonfire & Camper Crawl and live music by Mike Risner will kick off the weekend at 9 p.m. Saturday’s schedule has a high school equestrian meet at 9 a.m., kids’ crafts and games until noon and a costume contest at 5 p.m., followed by evening trick or treating, a Fall Fuzzy Horse Show and a camper decorating contest.
Sunday will feature a horse show at 9 a.m., pancake breakfast at 10 a.m. and a cow plop contest at noon.
