Ottawa County Senior Resources and the Ottawa County Board of Commissioners is teaming up with local tax preparers in Ottawa County to offer a tax prep voucher program for the 2022 tax season. The program is aimed at seniors (60 years of age and older) who qualify.

Eligibility for these vouchers includes: Reported income status, residence in Ottawa County and willingness to use selected tax preparers.

The tax prep voucher pilot program is first-come, first-served and a limited number of vouchers will be available. Vouchers will pay up to $100 per return and is limited to one voucher per senior registered tax payer.

The voucher is not meant to cover the full cost of a tax return, but is geared towards assisting those most in need with their tax return preparations. The program is now available.
