Shoebox Campaign delivers 606 boxes to world’s children

The Oak Harbor drop-off site for Operations Christmas Child’s Shoebox Campaign is happy to announce they were able to deliver 606 gift-filled shoeboxes to children throughout the world. These boxes not only deliver gifts, but more importantly introduce children to the love of Jesus.

Organizer Mary Hill wants to thank the individuals, churches, and organizations who invested their time and resources to fill these boxes, even during the Covid-19 pandemic. She also wants to acknowledge the generous time devoted by Roger Pierson, Bob Cook and Todd Hablitzel to deliver the boxes to the central location, as the local church member assigned the task was unable to do so due to sudden illness and hospitalization.

Without their help, and the help of all other generous Ottawa County area residents, the Shoebox Campaign wouldn’t have had such success.
