After receiving four colorful, gently-used girls’ bikes from donors Kaitlynn and Kyleigh Gahn of Port Clinton, who wanted to make sure they went to good homes, SIMPLE GESTURES organizer Kathy Jo Schweitzer (left), quickly searched for good matches. The first bike was taken home by Nayellie Fritz (right), while another was given to Alexis Shelton. The final two bikes were accepted by Assistant Director Cassy Kleinschmidt at the Pathway Inclusion Center in Harbor Lights Landing for their daycare and inclusive pre-school programs. Schweitzer was delighted with the girls’ reactions, hoping that SIMPLE GESTURES might have made the next few months a bit better for them this summer.
