To the Editor:
What a pleasure to hold Port Clinton Artist Club’s annual Arts in the Park fundraiser this year at beautiful Lake View Park on Aug. 7-8 in in Port Clinton.
Special mention and thanks must be given to Tracy Colston, Port Clinton City Safety Service Director and Sandye Ostheimer, administrative assistant. They were always ready and willing to assist with logistics to make our show successful.
Drew’s Custom Carts on Route 163 generously loaned us a golf cart for the weekend and it was a tremendous help for members and vendors alike. Thanks Drew!
Port Clinton Artist’s Club would like to express our gratitude for The Beacon’s timely coverage of Arts in the Park. Special thanks to Editor D’Arcy Egan for taking pictures of the award winners. The entire club works hard to make our event the best it can be and getting the word out to visitors clearly impacts our show’s success.
It’s a win-win situation because our visitors and vendors in turn have a positive economic impact in Port Clinton.
Way to go Port Clinton! Thanks to the combined efforts of all these factors we had another successful show. Remember Arts in the Park when you vote for the Best of the Best and see you at Arts in the Park next year on Aug. 6-7, 2022.
Sincere thanks, Joan Patthoff, 2021 Show Director, Arts in the Park
