To the Editor:

With all that is going on in the world today, the holiday season continues to bring out the best in people. For 2021, Danbury Township, Lakeside and Marblehead residents and area businesses enthusiastically helped the Danbury Holiday Bureau. With your financial support, you made it possible to assist 81 families, for a total of 226 people, with vouchers and gift cards to brighten their lives during the Christmas season.

My sincerest thanks to a devoted committee, including Bob Biro, Judy Indorf, Elaine Roth, Linda Twarek and Mimi Turinsky.

Thank you again for your continued support. It could not have been done without you. What a great community we live in!

Wishing everyone a Blessed New Year and a good 2022 year – stay safe.

Judy Smolk, Chairperson for Ottawa County Holiday Bureau, Danbury area
