To the Editor:
I’m fortunate to live on 11th Street in Port Clinton, where neighbors help each other.
Remember that severe wind storm last fall? Many large branches came down in my front yard.
After the storm was over, my yard was full of neighbors — men, women and kids! They dragged the large branches to the curb. Several of the men cut up the branches and hauled the wood away.
Even now, my neighbor across the street has been cleaning the snow from my driveway! Another neighbor takes my garbage cans to the curb!
Many thanks to all of my great neighbors!
