To the Editor:
We Would like to shout out a big “Thank You” to the Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council for the wonderful art show they did to honor local resident, and my brother, Bob Reynold’s Art! Over 100 people came to enjoy it!
Their new facility came alive with viewing, visiting, and delicious refreshments. Special Thanks to Carol and Jeff Morgan, Alison Falls, Teresa Jeremy, Barbara Radabaugh, and so many more, for all the work, love, displays and handling every detail for a great show! Twice during the day Bob added to the show with the amazing DVD of “The Onward,” which retraces the historic trip that our Grandfather Scott J. Matthews and family took on what is now called “The Loop.” Our mother, Kay Matthews Reynolds, was only one year old, and learned to walk that year on the boat.
Grandpa built a special enclosed crib for her to assure her safety. The Arts Council is busy working on their projected goals, promoting art in every form. Many thanks again for creating this memorable art show day for Bob.
Sincerely,
Sam and Jane Reynolds Howerth
