St. Mary Byzantine celebrates 125th anniversary

St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church in Marblehead will celebrate its 125th anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 16. The day will begin with a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at 3:30 p.m. with Bishop Milan Lach, SJ celebrating, followed by a banquet in the church social hall.

St. Mary Marblehead is the oldest Ruthenian church in the Eparchy of Parma. Parishioners, former parishioners, family members and friends of all denominations are invited to attend this milestone occasion. Banquet tickets are $40; $45 after Sunday, Sept. 25. Children are $12, and children under 6 are free. Reserved tables for eight guests are available. Checks made payable to St. Mary Church may be sent to Father Joseph Repko, 506 E.
