St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church is reprinting its sold-out cookbook, “All Things New.” Proceeds will benefit the church’s building fund for roof replacement. The ethnic cookbook is a compilation of three previous church cookbooks — the “Centennial Cookbook” (1997), “St. Mary Dedication Cookbook” (1977) and “The Best in Cooking” in Marblehead — and contains 300 favorite recipes including halupki (cabbage rolls), halusky (dumplings), paska (Easter bread), pierogi and nut and poppy seed bread.

The introduction was written by Father David A. Hannes, parish vocation, and explains the title, “All Things New,” which is taken from the Scripture, “Behold I make all things new,” (Rev. 21:5). The special edition cookbook is a tribute to the St. Mary’s Ladies Aid Society and all the women of St. Mary Church who have served our Lord.

To purchase a cookbook, contact Susan Gallagher at 419-626-0375 and leave a message with your name and contact information. Your response will help determine the approximate number of cookbooks to order. The cookbooks will be available in October and will make wonderful Christmas gifts for family and friends. The cost is $20

St. Mary Marblehead is located adjacent to the historic Marblehead Lighthouse. Services are held Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sundays at 10 a.m. All are welcome! For more information visit www.stmarymarblehead.com.
