The St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry is changing its operating hours starting on Thursday, Dec. 2. The new hours will be from 4–5:30 p.m. every other Thursday.

The pantry continues to operate during the pandemic to provide food to those in need in the Port Clinton School District. Seniors 60 and over are admitted first starting at 4 p.m. Numbers are handed out so there is an orderly admittance to the pantry. No numbers will be handed out after 5:30 p.m. Everyone with a number will be served.

The SVDP Food Panty continues as a choice pantry, with clients choosing their food items from well stocked shelves of cereal, canned goods, fresh vegetables and fruits, juices, milk, baked goods, bread and meat. Anyone who lives in the Port Clinton School District and meets the income requirements provided by the State of Ohio is welcome to get food. Residency requirements are verified. All food is provided free of charge. The pantry is located in the Portage Resale Complex at 301 West 2nd St., Port Clinton. Anyone who is able to contribute to our ministry is invited to send it to our offices at 414 Madison St., Port Clinton, OH 43452.
