Danbury Township resident River Roubaix and his German shepherd, Ten Bears, had long enjoyed the ambiance of Meadowbrook Marsh in Danbury Township, a popular hiking and birding trail. So much so that after Ten Bears crossed the Rainbow Bridge after liver cancer, Ruboix recently made the generous donation of a new park bench engraved with the name pf his beloved four-legged partner.

Rubaix, of Whitehorse Revelations, is still a regular at Meadowbrook Marsh, taking along Ten Bear’s constant companion for a decade, Traveler, left, and Remi, an Eastern German Shepherd that Roubaix is fostering.
