“Thanksgiving Reality” is the theme for this year’s Port Clinton Community Thanksgiving Service sponsored by the Port Clinton Ministerial Association, and pastors from area churches will participate. The public is invited to attend.

Thanksgiving hymns, scriptures appropriate for the Thanksgiving season, and prayers of gratitude will be offered. A short homily entitled “Thanksgiving Reality” will also be presented.

The service will take place at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 23. The host church is St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 214 E Second St., Port Clinton. An optional offering will be collected to benefit the Salvation Army’s local Christmas programming.

Following the service there will be a fellowship time with light refreshments served by St Thomas Church. For more information call Rev. Dr. Bev Collinsworth at 419-344-9961.
