Thomas J. Mayher, age 90, beloved husband of the late Joan (nee Koran) for 68 years; loving father of Kathy Dykin, Lin Peterson and Donna Dresp (Brian); loving grandfather of Eric Livingstone, Jaina Eagle (Rick) and Jared Dresp; cherished great-grandfather of Hailey Murphy, Emily Eagle and James Eagle; son of the late Frank and Mary (nee Bobinchuk); brother of Elizabeth Mayher, Ann Mayher and Frank Mayher, Jr. All services are private.

Retired from NASA, Mayher was an expert Lake Erie angler and lure developer. He was noted for his Tom’s Lure and Tiny Teaser Lures, among others. Mayher had homes in Cleveland and Marblehead, and docked his familiar Tiny Teaser fishing boat at Channel Grove Marina on East Harbor. Mayher particularly loved to fish the reefs and rock piles in Canadian waters around Pelee Island, where he and his friends consistently won walleye tournaments over the years.
