Thomas W. Bast, 72, of Lemoyne, Ohio, died Saturday, Aug. 31, at St. Clare Commons, Perrysburg, Ohio. Tom was born in Toledo, the son of Robert F. and Helen Mae (Schultz) Bast.

Surviving are daughter Rachael Operacz; longtime girlfriend, Karen Vaughn; brother Robert (Carolyn) Bast; and sister Elaine Bast.
