The Tin Goose Diner in Port Clinton has faced a number of trying challenges in 2021, certainly a difficult year for area restaurants and the tourism industry because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Now that the summer travel season is behind the popular diner, it has announced it must take the time to perform upgrades to its equipment and address other issues going forward to 2022 season.
The adjacent Liberty Aviation Museum, however, will remain open seven days each week from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
The Tin Goose Diner will be closed for approximately the next month. Maintenance that has been deferred will be performed, key pieces of equipment will be upgraded, and a deep cleaning completed. The reopening date will be announced as many projects come into focus.
The Tin Goose Diner officials say they appreciate customers’ past patronage and look forward to providing a truly superior dining experience again very soon.
