Top young spellers at Port Clinton Middle Schools advance to County Bee

Bataan Intermediate Elementary Spelling Bee Winners were, left to right in their order of finish, Maya Klimentov, Grady Northrup and Miyah Uszak.

The top spellers at Port Clinton Middle School competed in their annual Spelling Bee recently, with a written spelling test determining the top three in each class heading to this week’s Ottawa County Spelling Bee.

The Port Clinton Women’s Club sponsors the school-wide spelling bees and assists the North Point Educational Service Center with the Ottawa County Spelling Bee.

Representing Port Clinton Middle School in the Ottawa County Spelling Bee will be the top three spellers, Ryan Kuehling, Mason Short and Isaiah Cross third. Bataan Memorial Intermediate Elementary School will be sending its three best spellers, Maya Klimentov, Grady Northrup and Miyah Uszak. See more at www.pccsd.net.
