With the Christmas holidays just around the corner, the Salvation Army of Port Clinton hosted an all-day Hope for the Holidays Toy Drive on Friday, Dec. 8 at its headquarters at 1834 E. Perry St. Local folks dropped off hundreds of toys that will help to make the holidays bright for families in need around Ottawa County.
Joining a small army of Salvation Army volunteers were bands from area schools, as well as Toledo 13abc’s television personalities for the all-day adventure, which featured cookies, coffee and plenty of music.
