Tree A Rama Charity Auction is a special-event fundraiser for The Salvation Army Port Clinton Service Unit. It is Sunday, Dec. 8 at Mon Ami Restaurant and Historic Winery in Port Clinton with a Silent Auction beginning at 2 p.m., followed by the Live Auction at 4 p.m.
There is no charge to attend this event. This year, several local community members have stepped up to sponsored the event.
“In its 16th year, Tree A Rama has evolved from an auction of decorated Christmas trees into a diverse Christmas shopping extravaganza,” said Executive Director Maureen Saponari of the Salvation Army Port Clinton Service Unit. “There are many unique features of this auction, as it occurs during the Christmas season. It offers attendees the opportunity to bid on items donated by businesses and individuals including local artists.”
Those who attend will find many distinctive, one-of-a-kind gifts including artwork, themed gift baskets and jewelry. In addition, beautiful decorated Christmas trees, wreaths and centerpieces are available for bid. The best part about the auction is that it raises money to benefit those in need in Ottawa County through The Salvation Army.
