True Lay Stadium alive with Redskin pride

True Lay Stadium will be alive with Port Clinton pride on Friday, Aug. 23, for the Pride of the Redskins event starting at 5 p.m. Middle school and Fall Youth Sports members will join the High School athletes showcased at the event. Ohio National Guard will provide interactive games for the younger students along with the PCHS Leadership Council.

The Port Clinton Football Moms are organizing a chicken dinner for the event, which is sponsored and catered by Camp Runinmuck. There will be 150 dinners available for $12 on a first-come, first-serve basis starting at 5 p.m. The Kona Ice truck will also be at the event.

Freshman football begins at 6 p.m. and will play two quarters. The junior varsity team will follow, playing two quarters. The varsity team will finish the action-filled night at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is $5 at the gate. Active military personnel will be admitted free of charge with their military ID for this event.
