Vietnam POW Speaks on ‘Price of Freedom’ at Lincoln Day Dinner

Captain Guy Gruters, a pilot who was a prisoner of war for five years during the Vietnam War, will speak on the “Price of Freedom” at the Ottawa County Republican Party’s Lincoln Day Dinner on Thursday, March 19. The 6 p.m. dinner is at the Catawba Island Club in Port Clinton. State Treasurer Robert Sprague will talk about the importance of the 2020 elections, and retired Port Clinton Law Director George Wilbur will be recognized for his 40 years of public service. Tickets are $50, with a RSVP deadline of March 13.
