Vivian Collister, age 96, beloved wife of late husband Frank, loving mother of Gregg, grandmother of late grandson Scott, and granddaughter Kara and her spouse Jordan, passed away on Nov. 23. She was preceded in death by parents Walter and Mildred Delfing, and brother William.

Vivian was married to Frank for 65 years and lived in North Olmsted, and Catawba Island, for 52 years in the same house. She was a 1943 graduate of West Technical high school and the valedictorian. She also attended Case Western Reserve. She supported WWII by working at the payroll department for the Bomber plant. She also worked for BF Goodrich.

She enjoyed golfing at CIC, playing bridge with her friends, and gardening. Vivian was an avid Browns and Indians fan and attended the 1948 World Series.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Vivian Collister Education Fund: Checks payable to Gregg Colllister, 3641 North Appell Drive, Port Clinton, Ohio 43452. The Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
