Volunteers make Bistro 163 a welcome lunch spot

The Beacon newspaper celebrated a successful fund-raising effort for World Central Kitchen, which is helping to feed Ukranians in their war-torn country invaded by Russia. The Beacon’s Director of Operation Ali Hermes and her newspaper crew volunteered to take lunch orders recently, and Bistro 163, a pay it forward eatery, presented a check to World Central Kitchen and Chefs for Ukraine for $36,005.
