Shores & Islands Ohio, Ottawa County Improvement Corporation and other local organizations are partnering to host an information session on a potential Ohio constitutional amendment that could impact the local economy.

Outside special interest groups are gathering signatures to pass a constitutional amendment in November that would raise the minimum wage for tipped and non-tipped employees and eliminate the tipped wage that is so important to restaurant servers and tipped workers, Ohio’s restaurant and hospitality industry, the dining public, Ohio communities and Ohio’s economic vitality.

Join the Ohio Restaurant & Hospitality Alliance, in partnership with Shores & Islands Ohio, Greater Sandusky Partnership, Erie County Chamber of Commerce, and Ottawa County Improvement Corporation, for an information session to learn how a potential elimination of the tipped wage could impact your business.

Speakers will include Ohio Restaurant & Hospitality Alliance Managing Director of External Affairs and Government Relations, Tod Bowen, and Ohio Restaurant & Hospitality Alliance Membership Growth & Engagement Manager, Laz Picciano.

The Wage Issues Learning Session will be held on Tuesday, March 19 at 9:30 a.m. at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions, Zambezi Room (Entrance B), located at 7000 Kalahari Dr. in Sandusky.

Refreshments will be served. There is no cost to attend.
