Walmart donation funds Bataan Memorial Safety Patrol

Port Clinton’s Walmart recently donated $2,000 to the Bataan Memorial Elementary Safety Patrol. School Resource Officer J.R. Cipiti said the funds will be used to purchase new stop signs, high visibility road guard vests, new traffic cones and two-way radios. Officer Cipiti trains and organizes this special group of student volunteers that help keep fellow students safe before and after school each day.
