Kirtland’s Warbler
Join Dianne Rozak at Meadowbrook Marsh on Saturday, May 14 at 11 a.m. to look for colorful warblers and other migratory birds as they descend upon our coast in large numbers.
Binoculars and cameras are highly recommended. Rozak, a township trustee in Danbury Township, is one of the premier birding photographers in the area. She has been featured in The Beacon newspaper and many other publications, as well as on social media.
Dress for the weather and wear waterproof shoes or boots. This will be a quiet walk at a snail’s pace. Parking is limited down the hill but available at the main entrance in the grassy area fronting Bayshore Road, where we will begin with a brief overview.
Please join us for some amazing fun. No experience necessary. The event will last two to three hours but you are welcome to leave at any time. Most of the surface area is paved but we will make a loop on a grassy trail into the woods.
Meadowbrook Marsh is located at 8577 E. Bayshore Road in Danbury Township on the Marblehead Peninsusla. The walk will be cancelled if we are experiencing heavy rain, thunderstorms or severe weather. Call, text or email Rozak with questions at 419-340-9359 or dianne@danburytownship.com.
