Zeitzheim, a nearly life-long resident of Ottawa County, grew up in Oak Harbor, worked and lived for seven seasons on Put-in-Bay, and has lived in the city of Port Clinton for more than 30 years. A graduate of John Carroll University, Zeitzheim retired last year from a 32-year career as a high school social studies teacher. Twenty-nine of those years were spent teaching at Port Clinton High School. Zeitzheim is married with three adult children.
