For the second year in a row, USA Shooting will host Winter Airgun Rifle National Championships on Dec. 8-12, 2021 in close partnership with the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) at CMP locations at Camp Perry in Port Clinton, and in Anniston, Ala.

The match will serve as the Air Rifle National Championships for 2021 and is a designated National Rifle Team ranking match. Winter Airgun Pistol National Championships will be held at a different location during different, potentially earlier dates. USA Shooting will make the announcement about this competition as soon as the information is finalized.

“Hosting a Rifle-only and Pistol-only Winter Airgun Nationals allows us to host larger groups for both disciplines,” said Breanne Orey, Director of Competitions at USA Shooting. “Moving forward with competitions, we want to emphasize competitiveness and develop younger athletes. Hosting separate Winter Airgun National Championships allows us to do just that,”
