
The Yankee Lady, a B-17 Flying Fortress, will offer a unique flying experience when it lands at Liberty Aviation Museum on Sunday, Aug. 29.
Yankee Air Museum’s famed WWII aircraft, “The Yankee Lady” B-17 Flying Fortress will be visiting the Liberty Aviation Museum in Port Clinton for flight experiences this year at the Erie-Ottawa International Airport Authority.
The aircraft’s expected arrival time on Sunday, Aug. 29 will be approximately early or mid-morning, usually between 9-10 a.m. Times will be updated closer to the event and are weather dependent in Port Clinton.
Flight experiences at the Liberty Aviation Museum will be offered in several time slots: 11 a.m., Noon, and 1 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 29. Call prior to traveling long distances on the day of the event to ensure that the aircraft is coming to the museum.
Rides on the B-17 are $495 per person for 30 minutes in the air, following 15 minutes of briefing and familiarization of aircraft. Riding in this magnificent flying machine is a bucket-list worthy affair! Soar through the sky and discover why it’s called the Flying Fortress. Flight cost is $395 for Liberty Aviation Museum members at Companion and Family Levels
