The magnificent views of the the Lake Erie Islands on Friday mornings at Lakeside Chautauqua are making Yoga By the Lake under the guidance of Rose Sabin, of southstretchyoga, com, one of the most popular classes to be held in the area.
“We encourage men and women to come practice all levels of yoga outdoors, enjoying both the classes and the magnificent lake Erie islands on the beautiful and historic grounds of the Hotel Lakeside,” said Sabin.
The classes are held from 9-10 a.m. on the Hotel Lakeside grounds, 150 Maple Ave., Lakeside, every Friday morning through Sept. 3.
“Everyone can consider sticking around afterward to shop and dine inside Lakeside,” said Sabin, and check out the fun Farmers Market on Friday mornings. All Soul Stretch Students are given a free 3-hour pass to stay and explore Lakeside. Drop-in or class passes apply.
Yoga students must preregister for the Friday morning classes in advance on KarmaSoft (www.karmasoft.io). Parking is available outside the gates of Lakeside, with a shuttle service to and from the Lakeside Hotel. The walk from the parking lot to the hotel is just a leisurely 10 minutes.
Sabin’s yoga classes are getting rave reviews, and so is the Lakeside and Lake Erie location.
“Even though I wasn’t doing the moves, I felt the emotion and began to feel so much more relaxed,” said Natalie Smith in a note to Sabin. “These last few weeks have been crazy in Lakeside as we prepared to open, and now as we catch up. I just wanted to hop right in (the the class)!
“It’s exactly what we need. Your class is what Lakeside is all about. I am just so thankful you’re here.”
