Zoe Hines, Caitlin Chafee in Senior Spotlight at PCHS

Port Clinton High School recently announced its Senior Spotlight students for March, with Zoe Hines and Caitlin Chafee earning the honors.

Zoe Hines has been very active in student life at Port Clinton High School. She is a member of Leadership Council, National Honor Society, and a Freshmen Mentor. She has been involved in PCHS choirs and selected for the talented PCHS A Cappella group, Touch of Class, all four years of high school.

This year she is President of all PCHS Choirs. While in high school she has taken college level classes available at PCHS. She has been a member of the Redskin Tennis Team, serving as captain in 2019, and is a four-year member of the Girls Sandusky Bay Conference Championship Swim Team.

Hines is the daughter of Scott and Adrienne Hines. Next school year, she will continue her education at Denison University where she plans to major in Political Science.

Caitlin Chafee is a member of Port Clinton High School Leadership Council, Future Teachers of America, National Honor Society, and is a Freshman Mentor. Chafee is a four-year member and senior captain of both the Redskin Cross Country Team and Diving Team.

She has been in the PCHS Band for four years and has been the drum major of the marching band for the past two years. For 15 years, Caitlin has been dancing with the Linda Lee Dance Studio, where she has danced competitively for 12 years.

She is the daughter of Cheryl Chafee. Next year she plans to further her education at the University of Cincinnati, majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology with her goal to become a geneticist.
