First Night Sandusky will feature family fun activities and entertainment on New Year’s Eve at the Jackson Street Pier from 4 p.m.-midnight, brought to the area by Great Lakes Audio Visual, LLC. The celebration will include ice skating, jugglers, face painting, live music and more!

Attendees can enjoy a balloon twist artist from 4-7 p.m., face painting from 5-8 p.m., a roaming magician from 4-7 p.m., caricature artist from 6:30-8:30 p.m., and a roaming juggler from 8-10 p.m.

As the crowd counts down to midnight, the Main Stage at Mylander Plaza will host a variety of live music. Hosted by Rick Smith Jr. featuring Sorelle, Noah Smith, and other talent. A full event guide including downtown shopping, dining, and entertainment offerings, will be released in the coming weeks.

The event will be a great location to view the annual New Year’s Eve Fireworks Celebration, sponsored by Hotel Kilbourne. Fireworks will be displayed off the pier at 6 p.m. for families and again at midnight to ring in the New Year.

The best part, this incredible New Year’s celebration is open to everyone and free.
