PORT CLINTON – The North Point Educational Service Center “Compass Excellence Award” recognizes school district staff members who champion student success. This year’s award winners from Port Clinton City Schools are Janae Molnar of Bataan Primary and Beth Sandwisch from the Board of Education Office.

Sandwisch, the Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent, is a cornerstone of the Port Clinton City School District. She greets everyone with a warm smile and compassion, bringing the energy needed to address challenges and seize opportunities. She skillfully manages all phone calls and visitor interactions, always placing the needs of others above her own. A true team player, she assists in various capacities, from overseeing the transportation department to ensuring every individual feels supported. As the first to welcome new staff members, Sandwisch has become a familiar face throughout the district. With 23 years in education, she exemplifies professionalism and patience, truly embodying the district’s “Beliefs, Behaviors, and Outcomes: Think Team Not Self.” She is widely recognized and cherished as an essential member of the district team.
