The Village of Oak Harbor has welcomed Amy Drummer as its new Fiscal Officer. Drummer will be responsible for budget preparation, payroll, and personnel management, clerk for the village council, as well as be a trusted advisor for the municipality.
“We are thrilled to have Amy on board and expect her to readily meet the job responsibilities as well as bring a lot of added value based on over 20 years of distinguished government experience,” said Oak Harbor Mayor Quinton Babcock.
Drummer will begin her duties as Oak Harbor’s Fiscal Officer on March 4.
Drummer has served the Ottawa-Sandusky-Seneca Joint Solid Waste District as assistant director for nearly 20 years and managed multiple staff members, payroll, and performed other director level functions. In addition, Drummer brings her experience as an avid volunteer with the Ottawa County Emergency Management Agency, where she has functioned in many capacities, including public information officer. Drummer has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Public Administration. She is an experienced leader and executive manager.
