It’s that time of year to spread holiday cheer, and the Port Clinton City School District has numerous concerts scheduled to do just that — and showcase its talented students. All concerts are free and open to the public.
Port Clinton City School District Holiday Concerts at the Port Clinton High School Performing Arts Center include: Dec. 10 – PCMS Choir Concert, 7 p.m.; Dec. 12 – PCMS Band and Orchestra Concert, 7 p.m.; Dec. 17 – PCHS Holiday Concert, 7:30 p.m.; Dec. 19 –Touch of Class Christmas, 7:30 p.m.
Port Clinton High School’s popular A Cappella Group, Touch of Class, will present the 2nd Annual “A Touch of Class Christmas” on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. The PCHS Drama Club will feature “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” during the concert.
Showgoers are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the local food bank. Following the concert is a holiday bake sale to help fund Touch of Class travel for competitions and events.
Tickets are on sale until Monday, Dec. 10 for the 17th Annual PCHS Holiday Breakfast with the Arts, for residents of the school district age 60 and above. Advance purchased tickets ($2) are required for the event on Dec. 18. Tickets may be purchased at Otto & Urban, Mary’s Blossom Shoppe or the PCHS Main Office.
