Due to the generosity of SIMPLE GESTURES Contributors, 500 Christmas gifts and other useful items were distributed throughout Ottawa County by Organizer, Kathy Jo Schweitzer. The Grand Love Program received large cellophane bags full of over 300 gifts for little girls and moms, 15 pairs of girls’ shoes and boots, and a variety of useful kitchen/household supplies for grandparents. Rosalyn Barnhill and Sandy Thomas will distribute these through the Ottawa County Family Advocacy Center. In addition, Joyful Connections Program Manager, Tami Matthews accepted a variety of crafts including bows and ribbons for all-occasion gift wrapping , plus small Christmas give-a-ways.
