PORT CLINTON – Veterans are invited to enjoy a free meal at the annual Veterans Day Lunch presented by Crown Battery and Hal and Diane Hawk on Friday, Nov. 7, at the Jet Express/Port Clinton Island Port Terminal. Veterans are welcome to bring a guest to the event, which will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The lunch is sponsored by Crown Battery, Jet Express, Port Clinton High School Leadership Council and Bistro 163, which will provide the meal. The Hawks sponsor the event each year to express gratitude to local veterans.

“We want to thank them for their loyalty and courage and their dedication to our country,” Diane said. “They kept patriotism and courage as core values of our country.”

The Hawks value veterans and their dedication to America.

“Veterans are critical to us. They protect our freedoms and made many personal sacrifices,” she said. “We want to acknowledge their sacrifices that upheld our national freedom.”

Reservations are not required for the lunch.
